Member HOT Party Offers Great Photo Opp
(TYLER, TX) August 2, 2011 – Bring your cameras and capture TMA Members masquerading as movie stars this Saturday, August 6 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Museum Members have been encouraged to dress up as their favorite Hollywood stars for the Museum’s summer members’ party, known as “The Hot.” The event also offers guests the chance to see Remember When: Marvels and Memories from the Collection of Dr. James Clark, an exhibition of over 500 vintage movie posters and historical items from the 40s and 50s before it closes on Sunday, August 14.
“The Hot Party is a way for us to celebrate our membership and to say ‘thank you’ to the men and women of the community who keep this institution strong,” said Caroline Wylie, TMA Development Officer. “Our Members provide a solid support system for this institution and enable us to continue offering excellent programming to the community. It’s time to celebrate!”
Remember When lends a perfect Hollywood theme to the event, and guests are encouraged to arrive dressed as their favorite Hollywood stars. “Best-dressed” will take home a prize, and the winner will be announced at 8:30 p.m. Media planning on covering the event should check in with TMA PR Coordinator, Zoe Lawhorn.
