Opportunities for Giving

Special Note

The Tyler Museum of Art's Development Office is always available to discuss a gift to the Museum. Below are some examples of how you can support the Museum in its ongoing mission of bringing exciting and enriching art to the people of East Texas. Please call us at 903-595-1001 for questions and to arrange a time for us to visit.

Exhibits/Special Events

Each exhibit and special event at the Museum is an opportunity for sponsorship. You may choose to be a sole sponsor of an exhibit or simply make a donation toward the overall expenses.Sponsors are also needed for special events such as La Table des Artistes scheduled for April 24th and Little Black Dress held in the Fall. Your gift will be noted in all advertising and literature, including our magazine, The Preview, plus recognition at the opening or event.

Major Gifts

A major gift to TMA can be made in a variety of ways. A gift of cash is one option as are gifts of stock, real estate, oil and gas interests, and bonds. In addition to providing the Museum with the boost a sizeable gift can give, your contribution can also provide you with valuable income tax savings.

Planned Giving

Many donors these days are choosing to include the institutions they value in their estate planning as a means of providing a legacy for future generations. Remembering the Museum in your estate will ensure that the support you provide today will continue for years to come. The Development staff can meet with you and your estate planner to map out a plan for the future.
