Bits & Pieces: Works by Al Souza

July 19 – October 18, 2020

Organized by the Tyler Museum of Art, this exhibition features a variety of mixed media collages and assemblages from 2000 – 2010 by Al Souza.
The works, including his jigsaw puzzle assemblages, showcase his ability to masterfully combine various parts to create a dynamic whole.

Arthur Clayborn, a reporter for KLTV Channel 7, recently visited the TMA to check out Bits & Pieces: Works by Al Souza. Our Executive Director, Christopher Leahy, gave him a personal tour, which you can see here: https://www.kltv.com/2020/07/23/partially-assembled-jigsaw-puzzles-come-together-new-exhibit-tyler-museum-art/

We will be  following the Governor’s 25% occupancy guidelines. Please take a moment to review the Health Protocols for Museums by clicking the link here before planning your visit –  https://tylermuseum.org/visit/health-protocols/.

This exhibition is supported by Humanities Texas and Endowment for the Humanities.
