Visual Language Book Club

Free and open to Tyler Museum of Art Members, Visual Language is a book club focusing on all things art. This year’s texts focus on Impressionism and the artists surrounding the movement. The 2025 series is being facilitated by Anne McCrady.

Anne McCrady’s poems and articles have been included in a wide variety of literary journals, arts magazines, newspapers and anthologies. She is also a community organizer, inspirational speaker and teacher.

Each discussion will take place in the TMA Classroom at 2:30 p.m.
The meeting dates and corresponding texts are:

Sunday, March 23 • Paris in Ruins: Love, War, and the Birth of Impressionism by Sebastian Smee
